Finding the Hero in Your Husband Facilitators

Get to Know De

Hi, my name is De! I’ve led 2 Passion Pursuit and 2 Finding the Hero in Your Husband groups! It’s an honor and privilege to walk alongside wives fighting for the best marriage they can have on this side of heaven. It has also pruned and strengthened my marriage. I love showing people Jesus through His Word and loving them exactly how they are.

I am the mom of three dynamic divas (makes me excited to lead Mama Bear this season) and a Integrative Movement specialist that helps women find wellness freedom. I’ve also get the honor to see the unseen and listen to the unheard of individuals who are incarcerated and recovering from mental health and substance recovery. I am a gym rat and get to carry my love of movement into my career. I love to travel, hike and live life with awe and wonder of the glory of God.

I’ve been dating my husband for 23 years and married for 20. We are dangerously in love and best friends first. It’s a blessing to get to empower him to be the best version of himself every day.

Get to Know Keidi

My name is Keidi and this will be my 7th Online Book Study (OBS) and my 3rd time co-leading!  Twelve years ago, I married my high school crush, Scott and we have 3 beautiful children.  However, the honeymoon didn’t last long before we started having marital problems lasting a little over a decade. Our healing journey began two years ago when I attended the Passion Pursuit book study at my church. The more I learned and heard from God, the more I began to trust in Him, and I started pursuing the Healer and my husband even more through Finding the Hero in Your Husband OBS.  Now, my journey has taken me to Mama Bear Apologetics because Satan knows how to attack God’s children and I want to be a better and more empowered warrior for Christ.  It’s an honor and privilege to share in your journey over the next several weeks! I can’t wait to meet you!

What others are saying about Finding the Hero in Your Husband:

Everything in this book was filled with golden nuggets applicable in my marriage. The last chapter really hit home, about looking from the rear view mirror, being intentional, faithful, and running this race with endurance. I also loved: the fellowship, diving deeper into book by discussion during each group, and seeing other people’s perceptions and stories.

This was a great book study. I loved sharing with other ladies, which created great accountability to the other women to read and apply the principles. The community was like-minded and everyone was interested in allowing God to work in their hearts for His purposes. Also, having intergenerational discussions was such a blessing. I’m a newlywed and I felt so humbled to be able to learn more about marriage from women who have been married for 20+ years.
