Get to Know Jeff

Hello, My name is Jeff and I am used to leading with my wife through, God, Sex and Your Marriage. But I am very excited to lead this new study, Beyond the Battle with Jack! Because of walking through our own journey of healing in my marriage to Tonya, we have been challenged to keep pursuing God’s best for us. This includes pursuing God and each other in this unique covenant relationship. We have had so much help along this journey and we are still learning! One way keep learning is by leading online book studies. We have led God, Sex and Your Marriage for 3 seasons and it continues to amaze us that the people we encounter in these groups along with the materials we study, brings us a clearer picture of God’s redemptive love at work in the most intimate area of our lives. We have been married for 17 years and have a blended family of 5 boys. When we aren’t leading OBS, you might find us hosting friends, cooking, woodworking, or playing video games, cards or board games together.

Jeff was engaged, caring and authentic! He created a welcoming, safe space for individuals to share and process tender areas. He has such a big heart for Jesus and for seeing His Bride healed and whole. Jeff was also very respectable in listening to each one and getting to know everyone. He is a wise leader. He is good at leading the conversation, but also stepping back and allowing the conversations to mature. He is very affirming and sensitive about how he answered questions too.

Get to Know Jack

Hello, I’m Jack and Im married to my wife Deb! We enjoy the great outdoors, staying active, and chasing 9 grandchildren around. We’ve been married 44 years and have survived challenges to our marital intimacy. But God was gracious & remained faithful to get to a better place.

OBS groups have impacted our lives! The group gave us the foundation for what true physical intimacy is. It also gave us confidence to start a conversation with our local church members about true intimacy and sexuality. It gave us tools to put in place to continue to grow intimacy in our marriage. It gave us the ability to connect with others who are also on this journey and see how meaningful those connections could be.

I am excited to facilitate this new group because I have a desire to be used by God to draw others into deeper intimacy with Him. I look forward to meeting you and learning as we interact.

Jack is a very good group leader. He creates a lovely open forum for communication. I wish I could’ve had this class a lot sooner in my life.
